Thank you to all our HPAS families who donated bottles of shampoo this week. We reached our target of 250 bottles, which were delivered to Bromley Brighter Beginnings last night. They will be used in the family Christmas hampers.


This week is Road Safety Week and to help raise awareness, our JTAs led an assembly on how to safely cross a road.


Thank you to our members of Pupil Parliament who accompanied Mrs Howell at the Remembrance Day Service at St Mary's Church this Sunday. It was a wonderful service. A moment of reflection and calm.


The HPAS girls’ football team are still smiling despite losing the first football match they have ever played as a team. They showed massive improvement over the course of the game and were determined throughout. Well done girls!


Year 6 played their first football match today. They played brilliantly, and were 3-1 up for most of the match. We were unlucky to lose 4-3 in the final minute. Well done boys.


Team HPAS played their second netball match today. It was another loss but the team showed a massive improvement over the course of the match.


Year 2 enjoyed their final DT lesson of the term - applying their knowledge of axles to make moving toys. They then evaluated their finished products.


Our Year 6 Junior Travel Ambassadors have been busy this week attending the JTA Virtual Training and Investiture Day. They learnt about their new role in promoting safe and active travel. Look out for the competitions and assemblies that our JTAs will lead on.


We have had a fantastic couple of days taking part in the Harris inter-academy netball tournament. Teams from Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 played against teams from and . Thank you Beckenham Green for hosting!


Today our children took part in a science workshop to learn about the process of digestion. We created a model of the digestive system and learnt about how food is broken down. Thank you for having us Harris Primary Beckenham!


Year 6 had a fantastic day yesterday at Horton Kirby discovering the needs of humans and how these impact on the environment in which they live.


Thank you to all the parents who joined us for our Harvest Celebrations yesterday. Our KS1 and KS2 pupils sang and spoke with such enthusiasm and energy. It was a pleasure to see. Thank you for all the food donations that will be donated to Living Well Bromley.


HPAS netball teams played their first match today. We lost, but had great fun and learnt so much. Onwards and upwards - go Team HPAS!

Today Year 2 have learnt so much about the Tudor period. They were transported back in time and learnt about some of the differences between rich and poor, they met Henry VIII and learnt about his six wives.

Timings of the School day:

All pupils should arrive at school by 8:30am. The gates will close at 8:40am. Please ensure that your child(ren) arrive promptly to the start their school day. 

If your child arrives late, after 8:40am, then you must accompany them to the main office to sign them in.

The school day ends at 3:25pm for pupils in reception, year 1 and 2.

The school day ends at 3:30pm for pupils in year 3, 4, 5 and 6.
